For the sake of protecting Piltover from future terrorist attacks, Jayce ordered Marcus to lock the bridge between Piltover and Zaun down and search any other person coming across. As a weapon for a healing potion, Caitlyn buys her rifle.īack in Piltover, Marcus presents Jinx’s grenade to remind the Firelights that were responsible for progress day bombings. One of the addicts recognizes Vi and wants to help, so he leads Caitlyn to a healer who can build a potion that can heal Vi’s wounds. All of the people there are addicted to a type of chemical substance called “Smell” – manufactured by Silco. Vi and Caitlyn find a gigantic ghetto in a cavern deep underground hidden in the graves. Viktor then explains that he may know someone else who could help him. Jayce refuses and says that, despite Heimerdinger’s pleas, it’s a matter the Council will decide on. But after explaining the new technology in Hextech, Heimerdinger feels more sincere than ever that it needs to be destroyed because it’s too dangerous. The two of them are desperate for help, and call Homeerdinger. Viktor’s time is short, so Jayce feels obligated to do what’s needed to solve this final riddle. The plants which he uses in the crystal create death before long. There’s only one problem: it’s still not stable. Viktor already can use the crystal to manifest wild and strange plants, but he believes it could help to improve life and even cure disease. The Hextech crystals react to organic matter, like his blood, and can cause life. Marcus wants a chance to take a break from his mistakes, and Silco obliges, but the consequences are clear: Fail, and he’ll hurt Marcus’ daughter. But now that Vi and Caitlyn are causing a ruckus in the Undercity, Silco knows the truth. As far as you know, Marcus lied and told me he murdered Vi during the time he captured him following Vander’s death in episode 3. Marcus returns home after a long day of being a corrupt shit, and finds Silco and his thugs playing with his daughter.
Jinx interrogates Sevika and learns that Vi remains alive and is looking for her. Sooner or later, Sevika returned to Silco’s office to inform him they lost track of Vi and Caitlyn and instead found Jinx hanging in a drawer, while it was waiting for her. As many of Silco’s men run by, one of the firelights of Episode 4 watches from the shadows. Caitlyn and the severely injured Vi get refuge in an abandoned building in the Undercity. She’s curious, so she’s getting caught up in investigations. (Obviously, Vi and Caitlynbut Jinx don’t know that). In a hurry, desperate measures are taken.Īt The Last Drop, Jinx discovers from a few of Silco goons there’s a manhunt for two women. In the lab, a dying Viktor is finally able to make a breakthrough.
Hextech has an exact kind of danger that people might be saved from. His sickness is likely to be a result of the bad gases he was exposed to in the Undercity as a child, says Jayce. He arrives in the town council’s apartment for a meeting to inform her about Viktor’s diagnosis. Jayce’s health also concerns Viktor’s health. Two of them commit their self-interest against Viktor’s imminent death. When Heimerdinger is ahead of time, Viktor is brooding over his diagnosis. Viktor asks whether he can help and the two forces agree. If one is to kill an lizard, he’s not familiar with that mutation. The toy boat, which floats into a cavern, leads him to the scientist responsible for the creation of Shimmerthe same he saw during Act 1. Next chapter of Act 2 comes with a new flashback, this time a young Viktor is playing in the Undercity water.
